About me

In short

I'm a physics student at Williams College. I was born in California and grew up in the great state of Massachusetts. I look roughly like this. I cooperate on prisoner's dilemmas and unironically aspire to love my neighbor as myself.

Now

I'm in the final year of my degree at Williams, and I also work as a part-time research assistant at the AI Futures Project.

Before

I was a 2025 summer research fellow at the Centre for the Governance of AI in London. Before that, I spent the 2024-25 academic year as a visiting student at Exeter College in Oxford. The previous summer, I interned at the Center on Long-Term Risk, investigating how language models reason about decision theory. Before that, I taught cryptography at Johns Hopkins's CTY summer camp. Before that, I was a student at the Commonwealth School in Boston.
